Welcome to the Idaho Capitol Building
The newly renovated Capitol Building will be open to the public on January 9, 2010. Everyone is welcome to attend the
Rededication Celebration to commemorate this historic event.

Capitol Hours
- During Legislative Sessions:
- Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
- Saturday - Sunday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- During the Interim Between Legislative Sessions:
- Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
- Saturday - Sunday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

How to Schedule Events and Exhibits
- The 4th floor Rotunda is available for use by the public during the legislative session. Reservations are made
on a first-come, first-served basis. To reserve the Rotunda, complete this form and e-mail it to Reservations or call 334-4855.
- To schedule an event on the Legislature's Social Calendar, call Terri Franks-Smith, 332-1112, or e-mail Social Calendar.
- To reserve meeting rooms in the House section of the Capitol, call the Speaker's office, 332-1111.
- To reserve meeting rooms in the Senate section of the Capitol, call the President Pro Tem's office, 332-1302.
- Artwork is showcased on the walls in the hallway of the Capitol Garden Level on a temporary, rotating basis. If you're interested in displaying art or a temporary
exhibit, contact the Capitol Curator.
Tours of the Capitol
- Guided tours are offered at 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., Monday – Friday, beginning Monday, February 1, 2010.
Tours are available to groups with a minimum of 10 people and a maximum of 100 people. Tours last approximately one hour. Reservations must be made two weeks
in advance. To schedule a tour, please call 332-1012 or e-mail Capitol Tours.
- If you'd like to meet with your senator or respresentative before or after your scheduled tour, you must make
an appointment directly with them. To find out who your legislators are, please see Who's My Legislator.
