The Idaho House of Representatives is now accepting applications for the 2018 Legislative Session. These temporary full-time positions will run from January 2 through late March/April 2018.
Description: The successful applicant must be outgoing and able to interact with staff and the public in a pleasant and professional manner. The positions require proficiency with Microsoft Word as well as excellent grammar and spelling skills. They also require the ability to work under pressure, be well organized and detail oriented, and handle correspondence, telephone and e-mails. Typing speed of 60+ wpm and proficiency with Microsoft Outlook are preferred. For committee secretary and pool secretary positions, minute-taking experience is helpful. Dependability is critical. Orientation and full training are provided.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Minimum of high school diploma and three years’ experience in an office setting required; executive/administrative assistant background a plus. Resume must include references.
COMPENSATION: Wages are approximately $13.50 to $14.50 per hour.
