Statement of Purpose / Fiscal Impact

Statement of Purpose
RS09810

This supplemental appropriation provides additional dedicated funds to the Capitol Commission. These funds will enable the commission to create a videotape record of the renovation of the Capitol, create and produce brochures, visual aids and displays for speakers to use in presentations before public and private groups. It will also allow the commission to design and produce a newsletter, and continue the development of the Capitol Commission website. All of these activities will be used to further the commission’s efforts to educate the public and raise Capitol restoration funding from the private sector. The commission’s goal is to complete the renovation of the Capitol in time for its centennial celebration on July 3rd, 2005.
