                               BY APPROPRIATIONS COMMITTEE

 1                                        AN ACT
 2    APPROPRIATING MONEYS TO THE DEPARTMENT OF  ADMINISTRATION  FOR  THE  PERSONNEL
 3        COMMISSION  FOR  FISCAL  YEAR  1999; AND LIMITING THE NUMBER OF AUTHORIZED
 4        FULL-TIME EQUIVALENT POSITIONS.

 5    Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:

 6        SECTION 1.  There is hereby appropriated to the Department of  Administra-
 7    tion  for  the  Personnel  Commission  the  following  amounts, to be expended
 8    according to the designated standard classifications from the listed funds for
 9    the period July 1, 1998, through June 30, 1999:

20        SECTION 2.  In accordance with Section 67-3519, Idaho Code, the  Personnel
21    Commission  is  authorized no more than thirty-seven (37) full-time equivalent
22    positions at any point during the period July 1, 1998, through June 30,  1999,
23    for the program specified in Section 1 of this act, unless specifically autho-
24    rized  by  the  Governor.  The  Joint Finance-Appropriations Committee will be
25    notified promptly of any increased positions so authorized.
