                        Affiliate
                                         $95.00 $105.00 $120.00

                    Over 72 Years Old
                                          $45.00 $50.00 $55.00

The bill also changes the due date for payment of fees from January 10 to February 1.

The purpose of the bill is to meet projected increases in the cost of administering the regulatory
functions of the Idaho State Bar. This matter was presented to Idaho lawyers for a vote in November,
1997, and was approved by a 59% majority. The last dues increase was made in 1990. The proposed
increase is phased in over a two-year period. Even with the increase Idaho's fees are representative of
those in the Western United States.

                               Fiscal Impact

None. The Idaho State Bar uses no tax dollars and is entirely self-funded.
