                                BY APPROPRIATIONS COMMITTEE
                                                                        
  1                                        AN ACT
  2    APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL MONEYS TO THE BOARD  OF  DENTISTRY  FOR  FISCAL  YEAR
  3        2000; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
                                                                        
  4    Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:
                                                                        
  5        SECTION  1.  In  addition  to the appropriation made in Section 1, Chapter
  6    238, Laws of 1999, there is hereby appropriated to the Board of  Dentistry  in
  7    the  Department of Self-Governing Agencies the following amount to be expended
  8    for the designated program according to the designated expense class from  the
  9    listed fund for the period July 1, 1999, through June 30, 2000:
 10    BOARD OF DENTISTRY:
 11    FOR:
 12    Operating Expenditures                                                 $12,000
 13    FROM:
 14    State Regulatory Fund                                                  $12,000
                                                                        
 15        SECTION  2.  An  emergency  existing  therefor,  which emergency is hereby
 16    declared to exist, this act shall be in full force and effect on and after its
 17    passage and approval.

Statement of Purpose

This is a fiscal year 2000 supplemental appropriation for the Board of Dentistry in the Department of Self-Governing Agencies totaling $12,000 in dedicated fund spending authority.

Fiscal Note

This supplemental provides the Board of Dentistry with $12,000 in one-time dedicated fund spending authority to fund the impaired practitioner program. The funding for this item is dedicated funds derived principally from the licensing, registration, and examination fees collected from dental professionals.
