                              IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES
                                     HOUSE BILL NO. 814
                                BY APPROPRIATIONS COMMITTEE
  1                                        AN ACT
  4    Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:
  5        SECTION  1.  In  addition to the appropriation made in House Bill No. 784,
  6    enacted by the Second Regular Session of the  Fifty-fifth  Idaho  Legislature,
  7    there  is hereby appropriated $197,200 from the General Fund to the State Con-
  8    troller for Statewide Payroll for the period July 1, 2000,  through  June  30,
  9    2001.
 10        SECTION  2.  In  addition  to the authorization provided in House Bill No.
 11    784, enacted by the Second Regular Session of the Fifty-fifth  Idaho  Legisla-
 12    ture, the State Controller is authorized one (1) full-time equivalent position
 13    for the period July 1, 2000, through June 30, 2001.

Statement of Purpose

This bill appropriates additional funds to the State Controller for Fiscal Year 2001.



Fiscal Note

This is a trailer appropriation for the State Controller. This additional appropriation covers the fiscal impact on the State Controller’s Office that results from the passage of HB 510, which adds a new “gainsharing” component to the PERSI retirement plan. This bill appropriates an additional $197,200 and adds one position to the Division of Statewide Payroll.
