  1                                        AN ACT
  2    RELATING TO TERM LIMITS FOR SCHOOL TRUSTEES; REPEALING SECTION  33-443,  IDAHO
  3        CODE; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
                                                                        
  4    Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:
                                                                        
  5        SECTION  1.  That  Section  33-443, Idaho Code, be, and the same is hereby
  6    repealed.
                                                                        
  7        SECTION 2.  An emergency existing  therefor,  which  emergency  is  hereby
  8    declared to exist, this act shall be in full force and effect on and after its
  9    passage and approval.

Statement of Purpose / Fiscal Impact

                      STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
                            RS 09718 

The purpose of this legislation is to repeal Idaho Code 33-443 
and to provide that school trustees no longer be subject to 
term limitations.

                          FISCAL IMPACT 
There is no impact to the General Fund or any unit of local 
government.
