  1                                        AN ACT
  2    APPROPRIATING MONEYS TO THE DIVISION OF VETERANS SERVICES WITHIN  THE  DEPART-
  3        MENT  OF  SELF-GOVERNING  AGENCIES  FOR FISCAL YEAR 2002; AND LIMITING THE
  4        NUMBER OF FULL-TIME EQUIVALENT POSITIONS.
                                                                        
  5    Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:
                                                                        
  6        SECTION 1.  There is hereby appropriated to the Division of Veterans  Ser-
  7    vices  within  the Department of Self-Governing Agencies the following amount,
  8    to be expended from the listed funds for the period July 1, 2001, through June
  9    30, 2002:

 17        SECTION 2.  In accordance with Section 67-3519, Idaho Code,  the  Division
 18    of  Veterans  Services  is authorized no more than two hundred ninety-nine and
 19    thirty-two hundredths (299.32) full-time equivalent  positions  at  any  point
 20    during  the  period  July  1, 2001, through June 30, 2002, unless specifically
 21    authorized by the Governor. The Joint Finance-Appropriations Committee will be
 22    notified promptly of any increased positions so authorized.

This is the appropriation to the Division of Veterans Services within the Department of Self-Governing Agencies for fiscal year 2002. It appropriates a total of $16,721,500. Of this amount, $2,091,800 is from the General Fund, $7,720,800 is from dedicated funds, and $6,908,900 is from federal funds. In addition, this bill contains a supplemental appropriation of $575,000 for fiscal year 2001. Of this amount, $444,000 is from the General Fund and $131,000 is from dedicated funds.
