  1                                        AN ACT
  2    APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL MONEYS TO THE DEPARTMENT OF  SELF-GOVERNING  AGENCIES
  3        FOR FISCAL YEAR 2002.
                                                                        
  4    Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:
                                                                        
  5        SECTION  1.  In addition to the appropriation made in Section 1, of Senate
  6    Bill No. 1202, as enacted by the First  Regular  Session  of  the  Fifty-sixth
  7    Idaho Legislature, there is hereby appropriated to the Department of Self-Gov-
  8    erning  Agencies  the following amounts to be expended for the designated pro-
  9    gram according to the designated expense classes from the listed fund for  the
 10    period July 1, 2001, through June 30, 2002:
 11    I. BUREAU OF OCCUPATIONAL LICENSES:

 14    Operating Expenses                                                      18,500
 15    Trustee and Benefit Payments                                             2,500

Statement of Purpose / Fiscal Impact


Statement of Purpose
RS11293

House Bill 226 increases the honorarium for Architecture Examiners board members from $35 to $75.

Senate Bill 1039 provides for the licensing of Marriage and Family Therapists. The legislation establishes licensing fees that will cover administrative costs. Additional spending authority is needed to implement this legislation.

Senate Bill 1063 provides for the registration of athlete agents. The legislation establishes a registration fee not to exceed $250. While there was no fiscal impact referenced in the Fiscal Note, there will be administrative start-up costs associated with the implementation of this legislation for which the Bureau will need additional spending authority.

Fiscal Note

The fiscal impact of H 226 is $3,100 in ongoing dedicated funds.

The fiscal impact of S 1039 is $11,000 ongoing and $6,500 one-time for a total of $17,500 dedicated funds

The fiscal impact of S 1063 is $10,000 in one-time dedicated funds.

Total Fiscal Impact: $16,500 in one-time and $14,100 ongoing dedicated funds for a total of $30,600.
