BY APPROPRIATIONS COMMITTEE
1 AN ACT
2 APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL MONEYS TO THE PUBLIC EMPLOYEE RETIREMENT SYSTEM OF
3 IDAHO FOR FISCAL YEAR 2002; AUTHORIZING ONE FULL-TIME EQUIVALENT POSITION
4 FOR THE PUBLIC EMPLOYEE RETIREMENT SYSTEM OF IDAHO FOR FISCAL YEAR 2002;
5 AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
6 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:
7 SECTION 1. In addition to the appropriation made in Section 1, Chapter
8 116, Laws of 2001, there is hereby appropriated to the office of the Governor
9 for the Public Employee Retirement System of Idaho the following amount to be
10 expended for the designated program according to the designated expense class
11 from the listed fund for the period July 1, 2001, through June 30, 2002:

14 Personnel Costs $73,300
15 FROM:
16 Public Employee Retirement System Special Fund $73,300
17 SECTION 2. In addition to the full-time equivalent positions authorized
18 in Section 3, Chapter 116, Laws of 2001, the Public Employee Retirement System
19 of Idaho is authorized one (1) full-time equivalent positions for the period
20 July 1, 2001, through June 30, 2002.
21 SECTION 3. An emergency existing therefor, which emergency is hereby
22 declared to exist, this act shall be in full force and effect on and after its
23 passage and approval.

This is a fiscal year 2002 supplemental appropriation for the Public Employee Retirement System of Idaho (PERSI) in the Office of the Governor. This bill authorizes one (1) full-time equivalent position and $73,300 in ongoing personnel costs for a fund investment officer in the Portfolio Investment program.
