  1                                        AN ACT
  2    APPROPRIATING MONEYS TO THE LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR FOR FISCAL YEAR 2004; AND LIM-
  3        ITING THE NUMBER OF FULL-TIME EQUIVALENT POSITIONS.
                                                                        
  4    Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:
                                                                        
  5        SECTION 1.  There is hereby appropriated to the  Lieutenant  Governor  the
  6    following  amount  from  the  listed fund for the period July 1, 2003, through
  7    June 30, 2004:
  8    FOR:
  9    Lieutenant Governor                                                   $112,700
 10    FROM:
 11    General Fund                                                          $112,700
                                                                        
 12        SECTION 2.  In accordance with Section 67-3519, Idaho Code, the Office  of
 13    the  Lieutenant  Governor is authorized no more than two (2) full-time equiva-
 14    lent positions at any point during the period July 1, 2003, through  June  30,
 15    2004,  for the program specified in Section 1 of this act, unless specifically
 16    authorized by the Governor. The Joint Finance-Appropriations Committee will be
 17    notified promptly of any increased positions so authorized.

This bill is the FY 2004 appropriation for the Lieutenant Governor. Overall this budget reflects a 7.1% reduction from the FY 2003 original appropriation and includes $8,600 in base reductions, which also eliminates the $1,000 unvouchered expense fund, and includes no funding for personnel benefit roll-ups, inflation or CEC.
