Statement of Purpose / Fiscal Impact

                       STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

                            RS 15957

Nursing Home facilities in rural Idaho often have difficulty
attracting licensed administrators. Often, licensed
administrators from other states are interested, but the
requirements to obtain endorsement in Idaho are more difficult
than for those who initially seek an Idaho license. This
legislation makes the standards for obtaining endorsement of an
out-of-state license comparable to initially obtaining an Idaho
license.

                          FISCAL IMPACT

None.
