This is a fiscal year 2007 additional appropriation in the amount of $53,400 for salary adjustments for the Industrial Commissioners, Public Utilities Commissioners, and State Tax Commissioners. Commissioners salaries are set in code and currently do not adjust with state employee compensation adjustments. This bill is the appropriation tied to HB 795, which adjusts commissioners salaries by 3% as well as adds a market adjustment for the State Tax Commissioners to bring their salaries closer in line with their counterparts at the Industrial and Public Utilities Commissions.
