  1                                        AN ACT
  2    DIRECTING THE STATE CONTROLLER TO TRANSFER MONEYS FROM THE GENERAL FUND TO THE
  3        PUBLIC EDUCATION STABILIZATION FUND.
                                                                        
  4    Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:
                                                                        
  5        SECTION 1.  The State Controller shall transfer $10,000,000 from the  Gen-
  6    eral  Fund to the Public Education Stabilization Fund, by no later than Febru-
  7    ary 1, 2007.

Statement of Purpose

The purpose of this legislation is provide for greater stability and certainty in Public School budgets, by transferring moneys from the General Fund to the Public Education Stabilization Fund.
