14 regular meetings not less frequently than monthly, and may hold such adjourned
15 or special meetings as the chairman may direct and may meet at any time on
16 call of the chairman or a majority of the board. No claim shall be examined
17 and passed upon by any member unless a majority of the board is present.
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS 17152
This change, which closely follows the language in 58-103
governing Land Board meetings, gives the Board of Examiners
flexibility to set their regular monthly meeting date. This will
allow the Board of Examiners to choose a date which will allow
timely reporting of activities from the previous month. For
convenience, the Board of Land Commissioners typically meets
immediately following the Board of Examiners meeting, so this
change will permit more efficient scheduling for both boards.
FISCAL IMPACT
There is no fiscal impact.
