SCHOOL DISTRICTS – FINANCIAL EMERGENCIES – Amends and adds to existing law relating to school district financial emergencies to provide for notice requirements in the event a financial emergency has been declared; to provide an exception to the issuance of certain contracts; to clarify language; to provide for an informal review under certain circumstances; to provide for a due process hearing and procedure under certain circumstances; to provide that a due process hearing is not required under certain circumstances; to provide for financial emergencies; and to provide a time requirement for preparation of a budget if a financial emergency has been declared.
