HOUSE BILL 285

ELECTIONS – Amends, adds to and repeals existing law relating to elections to provide for proof of identity and residence relating to procedures for registration, to provide for proof of identity relating to election day registration and to revise provisions relating to proof of residence; to provide for proof of identity relating to absent electors’ polling places; to provide that electors desiring to vote shall provide proof of identity, to define “proof of identity,” to provide for a felony; and to provide for a voter identification card.
