SENATE BILL 1049

The status of each bill, resolution, proclamation, and memorial is updated when the offices of the Secretary of the Senate and the Chief Clerk of the House publish the un-official daily journals and should not be deemed official. The official bill actions are located in the final journal, which are maintained by the offices of the Secretary of the Senate and the Chief Clerk of the House.  The daily journals are published at the end of each legislative day.

PREARRANGED FUNERAL PLANS – Amends existing law relating to dead persons to apply a cited code provision in the absence of provision regarding disposition of remains in a prearranged funeral plan; to remove provisions regarding funeral services that do not conflict with the deceased’s instructions; to provide for alternate arrangements that do not involve the person’s remains; and to provide section application where the disposition of a person’s remains are not clearly covered in a prearranged funeral plan.
