SENATE BILL 1099

The official bill actions are located in the final journal, which are maintained by the offices of the Secretary of the Senate and the Chief Clerk of the House.  The daily journals are published at the end of each legislative day.

PRODUCER LICENSING – Amends existing law relating to producer licensing to provide legislative findings and purpose; to define terms; to provide that the director has exclusive authority to license bail agents and to regulate the solicitation, negotiation and transaction of bail, to provide that licensed bail agents are authorized to execute and countersign bail bond contracts in certain judicial proceedings, to provide that district courts shall accept bail bond contracts only from certain licensed bail agents and to provide notice requirements; and to revise provisions relating to bond requirements.
