Raised on a ranch in White Bird; graduated as student body president and valedictorian of Salmon River High in Riggins; B.S. in biology from USAF Academy; NCAA Division I athlete; M.S. in physiology from California University of Pennsylvania (while deployed); currently serving as a major in the Air Force Reserves as Idaho state director of admissions for the Air Force Academy and ROTC; civilian commercial/corporate/contract pilot; served nine years active duty, including three combat deployments and accumulated 1,000 combat flight hours; awarded “Top Gun” as A-10 fighter pilot; World Powerlifting Congress national referee; triathlete, Boise Ironman 70.3 finisher (2013); traveled abroad to 32 countries; proud aunt to 14 nieces and nephews and one great-niece.
