FISCAL NOTE There may be an impact on the General Fund arising from a difference in VA reimbursement. When a veteran receives Medicaid, the VA reimburses a portion of the difference between Medicaid's payment and the actual cost of care. Additionally the Division of Veterans Services now has a Medicaid cap. This additional reimbursement is not available for a spouse who is receiving Medicaid.
