Statement of Purpose |
RS16143 |
This is a Fiscal Year 2006 Supplemental Appropriation to the Department of Health & Welfare for public health services in the Physical Health Program and the Emergency Medical Services Program.
In Section 1 of the bill the Physical Health Services Program was provided $75,000 from the General Fund for the Menactra and Tetanus, Diphtheria and A-cellular Pertussis (TDAP) vaccines. Also within the Physical Health Services Program $250,000 in additional spending authority is provided for personnel costs in dedicated funds due to an increase in receipts, and a corresponding reduction in federal spending authority for a net impact of zero.
Section 3 is amended to include $191,000 in dedicated spending authority in the Emergency Medical Services Program for grants received by St. Alphonsus Hospital and The Department of Transportation’s Office of Traffic and Highway Safety for the Trauma Registry.

Fiscal Note |
This bill provides an additional $75,000 from the General Fund; $441,000 from the dedicated portion of the Cooperative Welfare Fund; and a reduction of federal spending authority of $250,000.
