67-3536.  medicaid management information systems dedicated fund. There is hereby created in the state treasury a fund to be known as the medicaid management information systems dedicated fund. In fiscal year 2023, general fund moneys reflected in the medicaid division’s supplemental budget request and remaining in the cooperative welfare fund from appropriations made to the medicaid division will be transferred to the medicaid management information systems dedicated fund at the close of the fiscal year or as soon as possible thereafter. The interest earned on moneys in the medicaid management information systems dedicated fund shall be retained by such fund. Moneys in such fund are intended only for the purpose of procurement, design, development, and installation of medicaid management information systems and may be expended only pursuant to appropriation. Any unexpended moneys remaining in such fund after December 31, 2031, shall revert to the general fund.
