Appointed July 18, 2024, to fill a Senate vacancy in District 9; a native Idahoan and a native of Western Treasure Valley, has deep roots in the region. His great-grandfather settled in Weiser following WWII, and his grandfather raised his family in New Plymouth. His father continued this legacy in Fruitland and New Plymouth, where Brandon developed a deep love for his state and country. When it was time for Brandon and his wife Rakel to start their own family, staying true to Payette County was a natural decision. Together, they are raising their three children in this beloved community.

Brandon was blessed with a heritage of strong work ethics and an entrepreneurial spirit from his family and friends. This led him to launch his own small business in New Plymouth, Shippy Sprinkler LLC.

Brandon’s conservative values are well-rooted and well-expressed. He serves as a volunteer for the Idaho Republican Party as a precinct committeeman, representing his neighbors.

Brandon’s dedication to his community has been evident in his past volunteer work, both as a deacon in his church and through sharing the gospel with Narrow Path Prison Ministries. Additionally, he and Rakel have opened their home as foster care providers in the past.

Brandon’s family is truly interwoven into the fabric of the community, past, present, and future.
