STATEMENT OF PURPOSE RS 07968 Increasing the size of the Commodity Indemnity Account Program (CIAP) committee will assure a quorum proportionately representing both producers and industry. With the failures that have occurred in 50% of the cases, one member has had a conflict of interest, which had reduced the size of the committee. FISCAL NOTE Current committee members are reimbursed under 59-509(g), Idaho Code. Members receive $35 per day plus reimbursement for necessary expenses, which are subject to the limits provided in Section 67-2008, Idaho Code. Currently, the CIAP committee meets at least once a year, which results in a fiscal impact on the CIAP of approximately $850. This includes transportation, per diem and motel, if necessary. If additional meetings were held, the cost would increase. CONTACT: Lane Jolliffe Administrator, Dept of Ag 332-8660 STATEMENT OF PURPOSE/ FISCAL NOTE H 709
