Statement of Purpose |
RS10909 |
This is a Fiscal Year 2001 supplemental appropriation for the Idaho State Historical Society.
.

Fiscal Note |
This bill makes three changes to the Idaho State Historical Society’s Fiscal Year 2001 budget: They are as follows:
1.) The first provides $74,500 from the General Fund to cover the additional cost of nine reclassified positions.
2.) The second provides $1,500 from the General Fund to cover the cost of a higher-than-expected billing from the Attorney General.
3.) The third provides $370,000 in additional federal funds spending authority. This will enable the Historical Society to spend additional historic preservation funds that Congress made available in October 2000. This portion of the supplemental appropriation also authorizes five limited service positions. A limited service position only lasts so long as the grant funds that support the position continue to be received.
