STATEMENT OF PURPOSE RS 11081 The purpose of this legislation is to permit an appeal to the State Board if the local board denies a revision of the charter. When first drafted it was not contemplated that a charter school might want to change their grade configuration or other changes. In the event of a denial of this request for a revision this legislation would allow for an appeal. FISCAL IMPACT No fiscal impact.
