]]]] LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF IDAHO ]]]] Fifty-eighth Legislature First Regular Session - 2005IN THE SENATE SENATE BILL NO. 1138 BY RESOURCES AND ENVIRONMENT COMMITTEE 1 AN ACT 2 RELATING TO FISH AND GAME; AMENDING CHAPTER 4, TITLE 36, IDAHO CODE, BY THE 3 ADDITION OF A NEW SECTION 36-417, IDAHO CODE, TO PROVIDE THAT CERTAIN 4 STATUTORY LICENSE APPLICANTS MAY MAKE VOLUNTARY DONATIONS TO IDAHO HUNTERS 5 FEEDING THE HUNGRY, INC., IN CONJUNCTION WITH THEIR LICENSE APPLICATIONS 6 AND TO PROVIDE CERTAIN REQUIREMENTS FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF FISH AND GAME IN 7 RELATION TO VOLUNTARY DONATIONS; AND TO PROVIDE AN EFFECTIVE DATE. 8 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho: 9 SECTION 1. That Chapter 4, Title 36, Idaho Code, be, and the same is 10 hereby amended by the addition thereto of a NEW SECTION, to be known and des- 11 ignated as Section 36-417, Idaho Code, and to read as follows: 12 36-417. VOLUNTARY DONATION -- IDAHO HUNTERS FEEDING THE HUNGRY, INC. An 13 applicant for a resident or nonresident license as provided for in section 14 36-416, Idaho Code, may make a voluntary donation of one dollar ($1.00) or 15 more to support the activities of Idaho hunters feeding the hungry, inc., an 16 Idaho nonprofit corporation, in conjunction with his license application. The 17 department shall include a checkoff form to allow an applicant to designate a 18 donation and shall transfer all such funds, less administrative costs associ- 19 ated with the collection of donations, received to Idaho hunters feeding the 20 hungry, inc. on or before July 1 of each year. 21 SECTION 2. This act shall be in full force and effect on and after Janu- 22 ary 1, 2006.
REVISED REVISED REVISED REVISED STATEMENT OF PURPOSE RS 14870C2 This proposed legislation amends Chapter 4, Title 36, Idaho Code, to provide that certain statutory license applicants may make A voluntary donations one dollar ($1.00) or more to support activities of Idaho to the Idaho Hunters Feeding the Hungry, Inc., an Idaho nonprofit corporation, in conjunction with their license. It also provides certain requirements for the Department of Fish and Game in relation to voluntary donations. This legislation has an effective date of January 01, 2006. FISCAL NOTE There is no fiscal impact to the General Fund or any local governments.
