Raised on a ranch in White Bird; graduated as student body president and valedictorian of Salmon River High in Riggins; B.S. in biology from USAF Academy; NCAA Division I athlete; M.S. in physiology from California University of Pennsylvania; civilian commercial/corporate/contract pilot and public speaker; currently serving as a Lt. Colonel in the Air Force Reserves as the 368th Outreach Squadron lead of admissions for the Air Force Academy and ROTC; served nine years active duty, including three combat deployments and accumulated nearly 1,000 combat flight hours; awarded “Top Gun” as A-10 fighter pilot; author of the book “Curiously Strong: A Female Fighter Pilot’s Story of Developing Strength”; Idaho’s 2018 Outstanding Woman Veteran Award; spouse: Matt; daughters: Hannah and Gwendolyn.
