RS 33655 This legislation relates to the crime of rape in Idaho. It increases the minimum penalty from one year to five years and maintains the maximum penalty of life in prison. Sen. Lakey
RS 33578 This legislation modernizes Idaho’s inspection system for electrical, plumbing, and heating, ventilation, and air conditionig (HVAC) work by transitioning from a state-run inspection model to a system utilizing state certified private inspectors. Sen. Shippy
RS 33755 This resolution states that the Senate Commerce & Human Resources Committee has reviewed and approved all temporary and pending rules of the Idaho Department of Insurance, the Division of Occupatioinal and Professional Licenses, and the Department of Commerce, except for Docket No. 24-3950-2501, which the Committee did not hear. RS 33767 This resolution states that all Temporary and Pending Rules of the Idaho State Police, Division of Veterans Services, Sexual Offender Management Board, and the Office of Administrative Hearings have been reviewed by the Senate Judiciary and Rules Committee. Sen. Shippy
H 668aa CHILD CUSTODY INTERFERENCE – Amends and adds to existing law to provide for penalties, enforcement requirements, and affirmative defenses regarding child custody interference. Sen. Nichols

H 602 FOREIGN LAWS – Adds to existing law to establish provisions prohibiting the use of foreign laws in Idaho courts. Sen. Lenney/ Sen. Toews
H 683 SEX OFFENDERS – Amends existing law to revise provisions regarding where a sex offender resides. Sen. Shippy
H 685 CRIMES AND PUNISHMENT – Adds to existing law to prohibit the use of a mask or disguise during a criminal offense and to provide for a sentencing enhancement. Sen. Foreman
H 689 ADMINISTRATIVE SUBPOENAS – Amends existing law to revise a provision regarding an administrative subpoena. Sen. Lent
H 690 ATTORNEY GENERAL – Amends and repeals existing law to remove provisions regarding sobriety and drug monitoring programs. Sen. Lent
