In accordance with Section 67-3519, Idaho Code, the Commission 25 on Aging is authorized no more than thirteen and seventy-four hundredths 26 (13.74) full-time equivalent positions at any point during the period July 1, 27 1998, through June 30, 1999, for the program specified in Section 1 of this 28 act, unless specifically authorized by the Governor. The Joint Finance- 29 Appropriations Committee will be notified promptly of any increased positions 30 so authorized. 31 SECTION 3. In addition to the appropriation made in Section 1, Chapter 32 182, Laws of 1997, there is hereby appropriated to the Office of the Governor 33 for the Commission on Aging, the following amounts to be expended for the des- 34 ignated program according to the designated standard classifications from the 35 listed fund for the period July 1, 1997, through June 30, 1998: 36 COMMISSION ON AGING: 37 FOR: 38 Operating Expenditures $ 9,000 39 Capital Outlay 8,800 40 TOTAL $17,800 41 FROM: 42 General Fund $17,800 2 1 SECTION 4. STATEMENT OF PURPOSE SB1541 This is the fiscal year 1999 appropriation for the Commission on Aging, in the Office of the Governor, in the amount of $9,402,400. Base Adjustments remove the one-time fiscal year 1998 supplemental costs from the fiscal year 1999 budget. Program maintenance includes standard personnel cost rollups, 2.6% inflation, and 5% Change in Employee Compensation (CEC). There is $38,800 provided for replacement items. Non-standard adjustments include $5,000 for Attorney General fee increases, and $1,600 in State Controller fee increases. The ongoing portion of the fiscal year 1998 supplemental is annualized in this budget. There is a fund shift of $15,600 from federal funds to the General Fund to cover the federal funds portion of the CEC adjustment.
