 1                                        AN ACT
 2    RELATING TO SCHOLARSHIP FUNDS;  REPEALING  SECTION  33-3719,  IDAHO  CODE,  TO
 3        REPEAL REFERENCES TO THE PAUL L. FOWLER MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND.

 4    Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:

 5        SECTION  1.  That  Section 33-3719, Idaho Code, be, and the same is hereby
 6    repealed.

Statement of Purpose / Fiscal Impact


                      STATEMENT  OF  PURPOSE
                             RS08342
The purpose of this legislation is to repeal Idaho Code section 33-3719 relating to the Paul L. Fowler Memorial Scholarship Fund. The
Office of the State Board of Education has received notification
that the Paul Fowler Scholarship is terminating following the
disbursements for academic year 1998-1999. This legislation serves
as a housekeeping measure. With termination of the Scholarship
program, the statute is no longer applicable and should therefore
be repealed.

                         FISCAL  IMPACT
There is no fiscal impact associated with this legislation.
