                                RS08555

drugs to include coverage for contraceptive drugs and devices. This bill would also
require policies which provide for payment of uncomplicated pregnancies to
include contraceptive devices and services. "Contraception" means the prevention
of pregnancy.

                             FISCAL IMPACT

An industry estimate of $2.00 to $3.00 per month per policy is projected. This cost
estimate does not take into consideration significant cost savings which may be
achieved through prevention of pregnancies.
