STATEMENT OF PURPOSE RS 08686 The State Industrial Commission has proposed a repeal of administrative rules of the commission that provide for minimum safety standards and practices for logging. This resolution would reject the repeal of those rules and leave the current rules that provide for minimum safety standards and practices for logging in place. Further, the resolution would express legislative intent that the Industrial Commission not repeal or restrict the operation of those safety standards and practices without specific legislative direction and authority. FISCAL NOTE This resolution would have no fiscal impact.
