1 A HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 AMENDING RULE 4 OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES TO ADD THE PLEDGE OF ALLE-
3 GIANCE AT THE SECOND ORDER OF BUSINESS.
4 Be It Resolved by the House of Representatives of the State of Idaho:
5 WHEREAS, the House of Representatives deems that Rule 4 of the House of
6 Representatives should be amended.
7 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the members of the House of Representa-
8 tives, assembled in the Second Regular Session of the Fifty-fifth Idaho Legis-
9 lature, that Rule 4 of the House of Representatives be amended as follows:
10 RULE 4
11 Order of Business.--After calling the House to order, the order of busi-
12 ness for the day shall be as follows:

14 2. Prayer by the Chaplain, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS 10346
This resolution adds the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag of the United States of
America as the second order of business following the prayer in the House of
Representatives. The Pledge of Allegiance serves as a reminder of the
responsibility to protect the priceless freedoms of the American people. Our
representatives will acknowledge that with great power comes great
responsibility. Our country's founding principles under God will be honored.
