Return $2,254,200 to the General Fund from the Department’s FY 2000 Original Appropriation for private provider payments. The number of juveniles served were fewer than projected due to a combination of factors such as: fewer juveniles arrested for serious crimes, fewer juvenile court petitions filed, more juvenile programs available in the smaller counties, and better department population management practices.
