2 APPROPRIATING MONEYS TO THE DEPARTMENT OF LABOR FOR FISCAL YEAR 2001; AND LIM-
3 ITING THE NUMBER OF FULL-TIME EQUIVALENT POSITIONS.
4 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:
5 SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated to the Department of Labor the
6 following amounts, to be expended according to the designated expense classes
7 from the listed funds for the period July 1, 2000, through June 30, 2001:

28 SECTION 2. In accordance with Section 67-3519, Idaho Code, the Department
29 of Labor is authorized no more than seven (7) full-time equivalent positions
30 at any point during the period July 1, 2000, through June 30, 2001, for the
31 programs specified in Section 1 of this act, unless specifically authorized by
32 the Governor. The Joint Finance-Appropriations Committee will be notified
33 promptly of any increased positions so authorized.

This is the fiscal year 2001 appropriation for the Department of Labor in the amount of $632,900.
Most of the Department operates under a continuous appropriation. Only the Wage & Hour Section and the Idaho Rural Partnership are appropriated by the Legislature.
This appropriation also limits the Department’s number of full-time positions for FY 2001.
