The purpose of this legislation is to allow an unlicensed
person, who has met the chiropractic educational requirements,
but has not yet graduated, to serve an internship and obtain
practical experience under the supervision of a licensed
chiropractic physician. The current provision concerning
temporary practice is vague and does not allow for the
practice of an intern.
