	                 STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
                              RS 10875

By utilizing the Internet’s capabilities, it is possible to bring
a universe of virtual courses to students in Idaho schools. This
amendment adds virtual/digital learning to the options of Idaho
public charter schools for delivery of instruction.

                             FISCAL IMPACT

Providing this option will have no financial impact on educational
funding. Students will still earn the same amount of high school
credits, whether they obtain them on-line or in a classroom of a
traditional high school or of a charter high school.
