  1                                        AN ACT
  2    APPROPRIATING MONEYS FOR THE DIVISION OF FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT FOR FISCAL  YEAR
  3        2002; AND LIMITING THE NUMBER OF FULL-TIME EQUIVALENT POSITIONS.
                                                                        
  4    Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:
                                                                        
  5        SECTION 1.  There is hereby appropriated to the Office of the Governor for
  6    the Division of Financial Management the following amounts, to be expended for
  7    the  following  programs  according to the designated expense classes from the
  8    listed funds for the period July 1, 2001, through June 30, 2002:

 27        SECTION 2.  In accordance with Section 67-3519, Idaho Code,  the  Division
 28    of  Financial  Management is authorized no more than twenty-six (26) full-time
 29    equivalent positions at any point during the period July 1, 2001, through June
 30    30, 2002, for the programs specified in Section 1 of this act, unless specifi-
 31    cally authorized by the Governor. The Joint  Finance-Appropriations  Committee
 32    will be notified promptly of any increased positions so authorized.

This appropriation reflects a maintenance of current operations budget. There are no new program enhancements funded. There is one non-standard adjustment reflected for $500,000 in one-time dedicated fund spending authority. This will be used to close-out the final major project of the Silver Valley Natural Resource Trust.
