STATEMENT OF PURPOSE RS 11314 This bill is proposed as an energy conservation measure. By exempting Mountain Standard Time from daylight savings time in the state of Idaho, a significant savings in the use of electrical energy and decreased costs for the consumers of electricity would result. FISCAL IMPACT There is no fiscal impact to the general fund. However, there would be a reduction in costs to ratepayers throughout the state. Contact Name: Speaker Bruce Newcomb Phone: 332-1111 Rep.
