4 SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated to the Legislative Council the
5 following amounts to be expended from the listed funds for the period July 1,
6 2001, through June 30, 2002:

1) Reestablish Frequency of Legislative Audits provides $250,000 to contract with private CPA firms to perform portions of the statewide audits or the preparation of statewide financial statements and free up legislative auditors to perform more in-depth and more frequent operational audits of all state agencies.
