STATEMENT OF PURPOSE RS 11217C1 At present Idaho law does not permit local government entities to allow the raising of funds by requesting that motorists donate from their cars. This bill will give local jurisdictions the discretion to allow such activities, such as the Professional Firefighters "Fill the Boot" benefit for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, should such entities so decide; the bill does not require these authorities to do so. FISCAL IMPACT There is no fiscal impact. Contact Name: Sen. Robbie King-Barrutia Rep. David H. Bieter Phone: 332-1000 STATEMENT OF PURPOSE/FISCAL NOTE S 1199
