SPEAKER Requested by: Board of Pharmacy 1 AN ACT 2 RELATING TO THE IDAHO PUBLIC RECORDS ACT; REPEALING SECTION 3, CHAPTER 194, 3 LAWS OF 2000; AND AMENDING SECTION 4, CHAPTER 194, LAWS OF 2000, TO STRIKE 4 THE SUNSET CLAUSE AND CONTINGENCY CLAUSE. 5 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho: 6 SECTION 1. That Section 3, Chapter 194, Laws of 2000, be, and the same 7 is hereby repealed. 8 SECTION 2. That Section 4, Chapter 194, Laws of 2000, be, and the same is 9 hereby amended to read as follows: 10 SECTION 4. An emergency existing therefor, which emergency is hereby 11 declared to exist, this act shall be in full force and effect on and after its 12 passage and approval.The provisions of Section 1 of this act shall be null,13void and of no force and effect on and after July 1, 2002. Section 3 of this14act shall be in full force and effect only if the provisions of Section 115become null, void and of no force and effect.
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE RS 11437 The proposed changes remove the sunset clause and contingency clause from Section 4, Chapter 194, Laws of 2000, with respect to Section 37-2730A, Idaho Code, allowing the Board of Pharmacy's controlled substance prescription tracking program, set out therein, to continue, and repeal Section 9-340H, Idaho Code.
