  1                                        AN ACT
  2    APPROPRIATING MONEYS TO THE PUBLIC HEALTH TRUST FUND  FOR  THE  PUBLIC  HEALTH
  3        DISTRICTS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2003; AND APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL MONEYS TO THE
  4        PUBLIC HEALTH TRUST FUND FOR THE PANHANDLE HEALTH DISTRICT FOR FISCAL YEAR
  5        2003.
                                                                        
  6    Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:
                                                                        
  7        SECTION  1.  There is hereby appropriated $9,689,000 from the General Fund
  8    to be deposited in the Public Health Trust Fund for the period July  1,  2002,
  9    through June 30, 2003.
                                                                        
 10        SECTION  2.  In  addition  to  the appropriation made in Section 1 of this
 11    act, there is hereby appropriated $90,800 from the General Fund to  be  depos-
 12    ited in the Public Health Trust Fund for the Panhandle Health District for the
 13    period July 1, 2002, through June 30, 2003.

Statement of Purpose

This bill is the appropriation to the Public Health Districts for fiscal year 2003. Section 1 of the bill appropriates $9,689,000 to be distributed among the seven health districts, and Section 2 appropriates $90,800 to the Panhandle Health District for the Spokane Valley-Rathdrum Prairie Aquifer Protection Program for a total to the districts of $9,779,800.
