Statement of Purpose |
RS12181 |
This is a fiscal year 2002 negative supplemental that reduces the Permanent Building Fund Appropriation by $7,100,000. This bill reflects the decision to proceed with the women’s Community Work Center in Boise and not proceed with the expansion of the Pocatello Women’s Correctional Center.
Note: The Community Work Center will provide 100 beds for women in a facility to facilitate their successful transition back into the community. The Work Center will replace plans to build a 440-bed women’s correctional facility in Pocatello.
