STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
RS 11427
The purpose of this proposal is to amend section 49-2426(2) to
exempt the Department of Juvenile Corrections from having department
identifying decals on the Department's cars. Employees have
experienced negative behaviors from other drivers as well as
pedestrians along with damage to cars, which we believe is directly
linked to the car decal.
FISCAL IMPACT
The only impact to the general fund would be reprinting the statute--a
normal expenditure. Car decals will be removed by Department employees.
