  2    APPROPRIATING MONEYS TO THE DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE FOR FISCAL YEAR  2003;  AND
  3        LIMITING THE NUMBER OF FULL-TIME EQUIVALENT POSITIONS.
                                                                        
  4    Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:
                                                                        
  5        SECTION 1.  There is hereby appropriated to the Department of Commerce the
  6    following amounts from the listed funds to be expended according to the desig-
  7    nated expense classes for the period July 1, 2002, through June 30, 2003:

 38        SECTION 2.  In accordance with Section 67-3519, Idaho Code, the Department
 39    of  Commerce  is  authorized no more than fifty-four (54) full-time equivalent
 40    positions at any point during the period July 1, 2002, through June 30,  2003,
 41    for the program specified in Section 1 of this act, unless specifically autho-
 42    rized  by  the  Governor.  The  Joint Finance-Appropriations Committee will be

  1    notified promptly of any increased positions so authorized.

This budget includes one program enhancement which would provide spending authority for $551,500. The source of this money is the 2% hotel/motel/campground tax and fees from the snowskier license plates.
