|||| LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF IDAHO |||| Fifty-sixth Legislature Second Regular Session - 2002IN THE SENATE SENATE BILL NO. 1376 BY RESOURCES AND ENVIRONMENT COMMITTEE 1 AN ACT 2 RELATING TO WOLVES; AMENDING CHAPTER 7, TITLE 36, IDAHO CODE, BY THE ADDITION 3 OF A NEW SECTION 36-715A, IDAHO CODE, TO PROVIDE FOR THE EFFECTIVITY AND 4 IMPLEMENTATION OF AN IDAHO WOLF MANAGEMENT PLAN CONDITIONED UPON THE 5 AVAILABILITY OF ADEQUATE AND CONTINUOUS FEDERAL FUNDS. 6 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho: 7 SECTION 1. That Chapter 7, Title 36, Idaho Code, be, and the same is 8 hereby amended by the addition thereto of a NEW SECTION, to be known and des- 9 ignated as Section 36-715A, Idaho Code, and to read as follows: 10 36-715A. WOLF MANAGEMENT PLAN -- IMPLEMENTATION. A wolf management plan 11 for the delisting of gray wolves, developed pursuant to the provisions of sec- 12 tion 36-715, Idaho Code, as it was in effect on July 1, 2002, and approved by 13 the legislature of the state of Idaho, will be implemented and become effec- 14 tive only upon the availability of adequate and continuous federal funding for 15 management purposes, as determined by the office of species conservation in 16 consultation with the Idaho department of fish and game.
